friendly policeman

one of my earliest sketches (from my schooldays). i fell in love with this picture i saw in a LIFE magazine my dad had got from the library. i couldn't cut it out, yet somehow had to have it. only solution: draw it!

the original drawing is now faded, the paper warped and yellowed with age, yet it's still one of my favourites, because this is what started me off on realistic drawings.
