figure study 01

one of my earliest nude studies. long before i knew that pencils existed in different shades.
i used a generic HB pencil and tried to achieve shade depths by altering the pressure upon the paper (a technique i STILL use!)
also note the outlines (this is a dead giveaway of early works by most artists).
